Oxygen

At CPR Help you can buy oxygen for medical purposes, which is a form of medicine. It is an odorless and tasteless medical gas that is used as a medicine against various diseases and conditions. However, treating with oxygen requires good knowledge for it to be used on; right sweet. Oxygen can be used regularly for various diseases or if someone is acutely suffering from shortness of breath.

There are different types of devices for oxygen and you inhale the oxygen with the help of for example silicone masks.

Equipment for giving oxygen

In order to treat with medical oxygen, basic equipment is needed, which is an oxygen cylinder and various accessories to be able to use ;nd it.

There are twoå different ways of getting the oxygen from Either via an electrically powered oxygen concentrator that uses the usual ambient air to extract oxygen, or larger containers with liquid compressed gas. This container must then be replaced each time all the oxygen is used up. Before being able to give the patient oxygen, a silicone mask is also needed for the face into which the oxygen tube is connected. The oxygen can also be inhaled through a nose mask.

Giving oxygen via an oxygen concentrator is the most common form of treatment and it is an easy machine to handle. An oxygen concentrator also comes in different forms. On the one hand, you can have a station device for the home, but you can also get a portable device if you want to use it. excursions, or if you want to store oxygen on workplaces or in public environments to be able to quickly help affected people.

Treatment with oxygen< /h2>

Medical oxygen is a drug used to treat, among other things, chronic lung failure and Horton's headache. Oxygen is also given to people who suffer from acute respiratory distress, lack of oxygen or low oxygen saturation in the blood. It is a very effective treatment that quickly produces good results for the sufferer. Another disease where oxygen therapy is used is COPD and pulmonary fibrosis. But oxygen can treat these diseases at home.

An oxygen treatment can be given to all age groups but requires different dosages. Therefore, you should consult with an expert. A young, healthy person has about 97% oxygen saturation in their blood. If you get less than 90%, it can be harmful to the body, but it can be, on the contrary, harmful to give someone a high oxygen level: https://www.vardhandboken.se/vard-och-behandling/lakemedelsbehandling/oxygenbehandling/oversikt/ . The oxygen concentration in the blood can be measured non-invasively with a pulse oximeter, among other things. In the treatment of serious diseases, however, other types of measuring instruments may be used.

Oxygen treatment at home

Treating with oxygen for medical purposes at home is a good opportunity for long-term patients not to have to visit the hospital for their regular treatments. Instead, they can be treated at home, while maintaining good contact with the healthcare staff.

The oxygen is used to improve the oxygen content of the blood, which leads to the body's internal organs receive better oxygenation. When the internal organs get more oxygen, the heart is under less stress and the body feels better.
