STIFNECK - Neck collars

In severe accidents, the spine can be injured. In such cases, it's crucial to quickly take the injured person to the hospital for further examination. During transport, the spine shouldn't move too much, which is why the injured person is usually immobilized. Spinal immobilization means that the injured gets a neck brace which stabilizes the neck and prevents movements in the vertebral column. All to then place them on a spinal board.

Stifneck's neck and throat collars provide superior immobilization of the neck for the injured. Additionally, they don't need to be removed for X-ray, MRI, and CT scans as their material is radiolucent.
