If a patient does not have a clear airway but instead has secretions, blood or vomit in them, a critical situation arises. It is then important to be able to quickly remove what is in the way in order to improve breathing. This is most easily done with the help of a suction pump.

Laerdal's suction pump is manufactured to the highest quality. As with many other products, Laerdal is one of the leaders in the development and manufacture of suction pumps. It is not for nothing that many healthcare providers around the world use suction pumps from Laerdal.
With a suction pump, patient safety is increased and more lives can be saved. Laerdal suction pumps have a function that uses a color-coded suction indicator to indicate whether they can be used for children or not. This is because a lower vacuum level must be used on children and infants.
The suction pump is portable, making it easy to use in emergency situations. It is often included as part of the equipment in ambulances and is specifically designed for this prehospital purpose.
In our range you will find the LSU Serres with a suction bag system and the LSU Reusable with a reusable container. Both are powerful and efficient and can reach a vacuum of over 500 + mmHG in extreme situations. In addition, they can maintain a flow rate of over 25 LMP. They also have a splash-proof design and construction that is easy to clean after use.
If you have an LSU Serres, the suction bag must be discarded between each use. If you have an LSU Reusable, the container must be emptied, cleaned and decontaminated after each use.
When connected to power, the LSU charges to 80% in three hours and must be charged between each use. The battery can be used for approximately 45 minutes. If you need to replace the battery in your suction pump, we have new ones in our range. They are very easy to replace on your machine.
