Burn Cover are sterile hydrogel patches that provide faster wound healing of burned skin. Since the wound pad itself consists of hydrogel, the patch does not stick to the wound. Before applying the patch, the burned skin should be cooled for at least 20 minutes. It is advisable to use Cederroth burn gel or rinse the wound with lukewarm water.
The plaster is waterproof and can also be used on minor cuts and abrasions. The blue color makes the plasters especially suitable for use when handling food.
