FAQ

How long does the battery last for the Philips HeartStart HS1 / FRx?

The battery lasts for about four years. The battery capacity decreases faster if the defibrillator is used and if the battery is exposed to cold.

How do I know when the battery needs to be replaced?

Philips HeartStart HS1 / FRx detects in good time before the battery needs to be changed and starts there; to beep. By pressing the "in" the button on the front of the defibrillator gives you information about what is wrong and what needs to be fixed.

How do I change the battery?

You change the battery by removing the old på the back through a bar. Then push in the new battery where the old one sat. When the battery is correctly inserted, the defibrillator will restart and ensure that everything is working as it should. You can also watch our video above where we show how to change the battery.
